Landis Office Center started in 1964, when Richard and Georgene purchased Royal Typewriter Company from Chick Landis. At the time of the purchase, the company sold and serviced manual Royal typewriters. Soon after, Landis Office Center started to sell office supplies and business furniture. The name was changed to Landis Office Centre to reflect the new products and services that were being offered. By the late seventies, many other products were being marketed by Landis Office Center with the biggest draw being the IBM typewriter line. As we moved into the eighties, Landis decided to enter into the photocopier market. Toshiba copiers and fax machines, Kipp engineering copiers, and Standard High Speed Digital Duplicators were added to our product mix.
By adding these top notch companies, our clients could now rely on a trusted friend and business partner to help them solve any document reproduction need.

 

With the growth in the digital age, Landis has positioned itself to continue to provide solutions for our customers ever changing needs. A sister company, Landis Technologies, was created to help our customers with any of their computer or network needs. As a spin-off benefit, this sister company, has helped Landis Office Center become a leader in providing connected digital copiers to our customers networks.

 

Landis Office Center is 30 employees strong, having doubled in size since 1986. We are big enough to offer the best pricing, yet small enough to still care about your business. Our service department, with 7 factory trained technicians, is committed to providing the level of service you expect. Our service ranks second to none.

 

The sales staff is segmented into different categories; supplies, equipment, and computers. This is because of the complex nature of each segment.
